BMM 084: Love and Lessons in the Time of Corona

from Black Millennial Marriage · host Mikey and Randie Chapman

Listen to us on: iTunes | Spotify | Stitcher | Google Podcasts What a time to be alive, right? In this episode Mikey and Randie discuss the ways the Coronavirus pandemic has already changed their life. From realizing that they’re blessed to having to accept that they should have deleted some people from their social media a long time ago, the Chapmans also share what this time in isolation is teaching them about themselves and each other. The couple lastly reveal how sad social distancing is because this means they have to stay away from key family members–like Mikey’s mom. Later, Randie brings a fight to Mikey they’ve already had, but hey–when you’re on lockdown together sometimes you have to recycle old arguments. In the end, though, it’s all love when they show each other PDA. It’s a tough, weird, awkward, hard, unprecedented time right now, and together Mikey and Randie thank all the health care workers who are on the front lines working to help those who are sick. They urge everyone to stay the f**k at home if they can, and to do their part to protect themselves and those around them. And as always, they hope you enjoy this episode. Are you excited to add these millennials to your list of relationship favorites? Pressing play and rating 5-stars on iTunes and wherever else you listen is the first step.
