Luke 6:6-11; Matthew 12:9-14; Mark 3:1-6 Here, the Law is designed to orient humanity to the things of God, yet in its insatiable effort to apply how the Law fits in every behavioral situation, humanity loses sight of God’s intention for the Law in the first place. Instead of developing a culture hungry for knowing God, we become a culture ever focused on what we can and cannot do.
