Bob Andy (born Keith Anderson; October 28, 1944 – March 27, 2020) was a Jamaican reggae singer-songwriter and a foundational figure in the rocksteady era. He co-founded the vocal group The Paragons in the early 1960s before launching a solo career at Studio One in 1966. There, he recorded timeless hits like "I've Got to Go Back Home" and "Too Experienced." His 1970 compilation, Bob Andy's Song Book, remains one of reggae's most influential albums, praised for its deep poetic lyricism and social consciousness.
