Bob Dickerson: Hope For The Warriors; US Military Goals; Golf Event

We’re going to reflect about our Independence, about being an American in the 21st century, while also looking back on our recent war history, the events now in the Middle East, and also a 100 year anniversary that has meaning today, while also remembering those who have – MOST RECENTLY -- made the ultimate sacrifice and those who are still making it today.We’ll also talk about a big celebrity golf event for our men and women who have served and are now struggling.  It is the Scarlet and Gold Tournament for Hope for the Warriors.  That’s coming up in September at River Landing in Wallace, North Carolina.For more information go to www.hopeforthewarriors.orI will be there, as will my guest today.  Bob Dickerson served 30 years in the US Marines which included being the Commander of Camp Lejeuene in Jacksonville, North Carolina.  He is currently an executive vice president at Marine Federal Credit Union in the area.  Please welcome to the show, Retired Major General Bob Dickerson.
