Bob Sambol - Founder and Proprietor of Bob's Steak & Chop House

from Steak House Hall of Fame · host Ron Small

Join Host Ron Small as he welcomes his old friend and business partner in Steak House Hall of Fame, Bob Sambol to the Podcast.  Bob is the Founder of the iconic Bob's Steak & Chop House in Dallas, which opened to terrific fanfare in 1993 and has expanded across the US. Bob's resume in the restaurant business reads like a "who's who," and includes long-term relationships with the likes of Philip Sambol (Bob's Dad), Jack Jackson, Dale Wamstad, Dick Clark, Mike Sweet, Bennett Glazer, Arnie Morton, and the list goes on.  On a personal note, Bob devised the idea for Steak House Hall of Fame and invited me to join him as a partner.  As Bob has mentioned more than once, "I know how to run a Steak House, Ron knows how to do everything else."
