This week on The Magpie Circle Podcast we are joined by, a veteran of over 230 appearances for #Notts at left-back, Bob Worthington as we look back on the 1960's for the first time at Notts County.Bob made over 230 appearances during his time at Notts between 1968-74 after signing from Middlesborough at the same time as Notts great, Don Masson. We talk with Bob about his time at Meadow Lane with some fantastic insight into his relationship with Don Masson as well as how Kevin Keegan called Notts 'the land of the giants, his encounter with Bill Shankly & the likes of Neil Warnock, Sir Bobby Charlton, Harry Redknapp & Brian Clough being on the receiving end of his tackles!Bob had a successful career in football also playing for the likes of Middlesborough, Halifax, Southend & Hartlepool.  Hosted on Acast.
