I can't find y'all listeners I've spent this entire fucking morning.
I've been up since 6 30 I Lost a hard drive anything. It's fucking the color of a safety cone. It's booking orange. I've been looking for it for like three days now Compulsively I can't just go well.
Maybe it'll turn up like I'm like oh no. It's gonna be here somewhere. So I've been like Turning shit upside down. Yeah, trying to find the stupid hard drive.
I could live without it honestly. It's not like No, we can't clearly I can't I can't live with I just need to find it Must be found. This is when I really think that there might be something Chemically Then maybe what do you mean? Just chemically mean 50 maybe after 58 years.
I've really I've done some damage. Oh like I can't remember where I'm I miss play shit. I do the same thing. It's because we are we're cluttery people We we are cluttery little squirrels we we we squirrel and squirrel and we nibble and then we tuck it away and then we You you led me into this relationship as when I thought was an organized person.
Oh, okay, but I was actually very psyched to find out I'm sorry. No, no, I'm just I'm just saying that I have looked to other people to keep me kind of on point over the years But um you and I really need each other We get to keep each other on point You know, I enjoy our dynamic a lot We've we've got a clutter problem. We we've got a lost item problem. We there's something always missing always missing actually I have I mean do you remember was a couple weeks ago?
I couldn't find my own to-do list Maybe you were gone to her. I can't remember but it it I looked oh, man. I looked high and low It's like the orange hard drive you're looking for I lost my fucking to-do list guys Was the color of a road cone because mine is the color of a fucking road cone? No, it wasn't but you know, it's kind of big It's like a little more I know it.
I think I know exactly what you're talking. Yeah, it's been in our family for a while It was living in the attic and now we don't know where the hell it is I was transporting it back and forth between my little hovel my little corner and then the attic What's the place called where squirrel is it a den a squirrel den because I'm really feeling like where squirrels actually like I love cows You know people say like oh, that's my spirit animal I love a cow they feel I feel very like connected to cows But if I'm being honest and I'm gonna say like this is the animal that best would be me to squirrel I think we're always like looking around for something my berry. I was looking for their nuts Do they forget their nuts? Are there like a bunch of nuts?
I feel like they do like they forget about a bunch of them. They have to bury so many into so many different places because maybe they forget their nuts I don't know it's nuts This is a we are now prefacing a podcast episode. We're doing this. We're doing this.
This is like pro This is like pro-level podcasting. We are introducing an interview a rare Ron Preshins interview with Bobby back Of course, he's now he's the only guy that I feel comfortable asking to be on the podcast Bobby Bear Jr. So much fun though. We love him.
We just start yapping away Yeah, it's something like we're gonna learn how to talk as a little trio I know because I have a hard time knowing when my space is you know me too. I I apologize in advance to any listeners who are like You're all talking over each other. That's probably true. I think we all got so excited too It's like we were like little kids in a room.
We see each other and we're just we just start chatting So the good the reason that we talked to Bobby is that very soon I'm going on a solo tour not Disney you and Izzy not solo We're like we're heading north from here into Canada and then we're gonna move west across Ontario First we're gonna be Quebec Quebec Ottawa and Ontario we're gonna go Toronto. Okay. It's a mortar I think we have four shows or five shows in Canada five. Okay, it's pretty Well, that's my favorite number.
So it's gonna be amazing. It's gonna be great And then we're gonna meet Bobby Bear in Detroit. Yay And then we're gonna come around back three. He's gonna hop in our minivan and he's gonna be he and Izzy in the backseat Yeah, I'll be driving.
I'll be driving. I don't know you and Bobby can take turns sitting in the back with Izzy Okay, well without further ado if anyone knows where my hard drive is Oh, if you're a psychic in some way just even just concentrating on the sound of my voice you're like, oh dude, you know Yeah, have you checked you put it on? It's something where is it's like it's in the bathroom like what the fuck is in the bathroom? We're gonna keep talking about this tour until it happens And I want to put one thing out there before we get to the interview So when we go to Canada and we do those five shows We're going to bring some merch.
I want to know from American touring bands who go over and they play little shows like that in Canada Tell me how you are receiving a credit card payment at the show. Tell me what you're doing. Okay, I need to know Please tell me where so we need a psychic listener to figure out where my hard drive is. Yes, definitely.
Oh my god How was that shot that was crazy? That's like something that's like my throat. That's where your hard drive is Okay, what all right, let's get on. Okay, here goes Welcome to wrong impressions.
We have our only only guest our only guest is here again today Distinguished Extinguished distinguished I thought y'all do one and I felt left out. Oh, yeah, we want you anytime Yeah, yeah, Bobby Bobby texted me but yesterday and you're said you can't do that with you can't do it without me Yeah, I'm like I thought about it for like five seconds. I'm like it's true. We gotta get you back on the podcast I love it.
This is great. I just it just makes me happy. It brings me joy. Oh Bobby bears all bear in the chair like there's just so many fun things we can do well You can look at my dog again.
Let's see. Okay. Can you see that? Oh gosh?
Yeah, try to calm down already. I mean Why why so worked up puppers? Yeah, it was a good dog. Yeah, who's a good dog?
Oh my goodness. I walk anymore very well Oh, yeah, he's 11. Yeah, yeah I'm gonna van with you guys. I know are you what are we doing?
Are we gonna go on tour together? We're gonna snatch you up and throw you on our minivan and I think I'm gonna become part of your family vacation The Barlow family general tour featuring Is it an opera I'm gonna jump in the van and Detroit. Yeah, we're gonna play to Canada I wanted Canada all to myself. I haven't been there for a long time Totally doing Canada and then we're gonna meet you in Detroit and it's you're not gonna play back from Detroit back east Yes, I just noticed I'm vertical should I go horizontal like y'all I mean that's personal body.
Okay, sharing It's time to share a lot of concept for this show that we would all we'd share Sharing with bear Motions and feelings feelings of no circle time at school Bobby, you know where everyone kind of sits down and then they each get a little time to share It's like that, but on bra impressions. I do have this timer. Can you can you see the timer Bobby? Yeah?
Okay, we're gonna take potato and oven It's my little ADHD visual timer that I use I carried around with me like a little baby blanket So we're gonna do how long Lou we each get what would we say five minutes to share? What's what we feel like sharing right now? What's new with us? What's not new what we hate what we love?
Yep? You're gonna take it at this point. You are the teacher. Oh Sweet preschool teacher Miss Adele miss Adele share and yeah sharing time Bobby hold on I'm gonna give you your shot in one second here I'm gonna set the timer.
Okay. Hello. You get five minutes. Oh, okay?
All right, so you know with a decent share and remember it's whatever you feel like sharing this is wrong impressions Okay, I can share count of three. Okay. Yes one two three body I went to Sweden in Norway Hmm, and I've got a list of things that they don't have That I did not experience in Norway That I experience the biggest differences I saw between Sweden and Norway the whole time we were there for like we were there for three weeks driving between Three and seven hours a day and we were way into the woods way up north in Sweden in Norway We did not see one deer or one elk or one moose Squirrels and birds only I saw one no roadkill. I saw one I think roadkill skunk on the whole trip It's as if we were in a video game and somebody forgot to click wildlife large wildland I mean nothing and we were way is you know way up there?
They don't have big signs like the Donald's Approaching on the right at next there was sometimes I'd have a semi-park in a field with Burger King on it But other than that no signs we saw four police cars The whole three weeks were there in Norway and Sweden only four and I never thought about it But I'll see four cops on the way five minutes going towards Nashville There is mostly all electric cars Everybody seems to go three or five kilometers under the speed limit Unaggressive drivers ever No drug my musical partner is a marijuana smoker could not find it Except for the first day in Malmo. He did have weed but everything after that no drug in fact when he would ask people They'd say you know that's illegal, right? It's like yeah, but we didn't see any homeless people. I don't know what they how they help people over there There was no nighttime because the Sun goes down 1130 and comes back up at 3 30 8 Lots and lots and lots of Teslas, but not one cyber truck.
I don't know and no tips. Oh Yeah, oh my gosh, I hope to figure I want to figure out I want to figure out at least three or four months out of every year in Sweden in Norway So that's my goal. Maybe you live there, you know, I know it's not like screw you America. It's more like I I'm an earthling I want to experience something other than I know what it's like to be in America I want to see what it's like somewhere else and I've always loved those countries some That's and I've met some meet some record label guy over there and our cotton contact What and I met the guy that runs the abba studio, so I'm gonna He wants to make some happens.
I'm gonna keep sending him songs to hopefully get to that out. We'll call it tennis Swedish music I Want to do some invent and a Swedish music Have about a minute left. Okay, that's it Don't keep going you have one minute. Okay.
I need one one Swedish Norwegian girlfriend or wife. That's all in just one Be there live there So that's the hope that's the dream of it. Okay, keep going. Oh And I'm excited I'm excited about getting into minivan with you guys And sharing emotions and feelings on stage with blue bar low for sure Okay, you have like 10 seconds left.
That's it. Okay, so you're just you're done. Yeah, okay. Oh, well, see I'm good All right, I want to know yeah, I really try to keep my mouth shut the whole time me too That was hard.
It was a real real exercise to keep my mouth shut for five minutes I was gonna wait until the beat and then I can start speaking They call it questions and comments at is he school right? Okay? Now you know you say to us does anyone have questions or comments? Does anyone have questions or comments?
I would like first okay first off that I think that billboards are illegal in most of the world Yeah, they don't have billboards. They're just straight up illegal. They don't have them. It makes sense I don't even know if they have them in Canada.
How did they see how did they see Rock City? How did they see? I've seen a billboard for buckies like buckies in 1000 miles. Yeah, he said buckies has billboards now that like stretch in parts of the country where there Are no buckies.
Yeah, that's how crazy the billboard thing is with us I actually had to get this little pen and start writing things down because what you were saying Bobby Barry Jr Was so interesting that I I was enjoying it so much of what you said all of it and I was thinking about the no roadkill thing And I wrote down no roadkill question mark because where are the animals? You know and Do they have a safe crossing pass like are those really common? There is that maybe why or I would think that they've thought about the wildlife even for two lane rounds I bet there's like little bit just underneath I really think that they that even when they built those roads they were thinking in terms of Not killing Animals that's what I'm freaking interesting concept. You know, there's most crossing signs But everybody says those are just for the tourists what I was thinking was I could have a whole separate like discussion Maybe in the minivan about the roadkill thing But my last sort of like two cents on that is just that you know I go to Wisconsin every month to see my mom and my dad and there it's a two lane road along most of the way there and There is so much roadkill.
It's it's incredible I mean what you're dodging deer constantly and was But you know what the deadliest I've been told this I don't know it's true the deadliest animal in America is a deer deer Yeah, and it's not even people hitting the deer. It's people swerving away from the deer trees are oncoming traffic Yeah, no, that makes sense. Yeah, it's just it's actually stressful. Yeah, my my ex wife hurt her Volkswagen was hit by a deer like the deer hit side of her car.
Uh-huh ran into it. Yeah, but in a place It's like Wyoming and Alaska most of the cars and we'll have cages on the front just because it's so common to hit Animals because they're so many More because to keep them off the road and you know I loved hearing about all your Swedish stuff Lou. Do you want to have a tour? Do you have any more questions and comments for Bobby Bear Jr?
No, I'm just desperately trying to think of something that I would talk about for five minutes straight Well, I can talk about our cabin. Did you just go to Spain? I went I went to Spain for a day. I mean, okay Well, let me do your timer then.
Oh, yeah, okay. Okay. Okay, so Lou, can you please just sit down on the rug? I see you're getting a little squirrely and it's your five minutes are here so Okay, I'm gonna put the timer on in three two one you get your five minutes.
Okay three two one go Yes, I went to Spain recently. I would have I've done some I've been Here and there over the last few weeks and I don't it's been happening so quickly. I went to Spain But it was only for a day So I flew it took all day to fly there and then I got there late at night and then we went to the hotel and now when I get to hotels I just conve less I just immediately like shut down because I have to worry about Jet lag because I want to have all the energy I can possibly have for the show the next day So I just go into this like dormant mode and I figure out the easiest way to live like for the next three days and it's You know, so I was there. Yes, I was in Spain and we played this festival that dinosaur junior had played Possibly 18 years ago.
Like I looked it up I'm like I think that we've been here before and I think we were here with the JHawks and A member of the JHawks told me on a ride back from the back to the airport after the show one of the members of the JHawks Told me that he didn't think that I actually played the base Because he couldn't I guess because he couldn't hear me I don't know what but I but I actually was like I did not expect to be insulted by them a member of the JHawks which Forever has enshrined that moment for me because they seem like such a nice band I mean gosh who could be nicer than the JHawks. They're from Minnesota. They're from Minneapolis for God's sakes But so I remember that but it turns out. Yes, we were there 18 years earlier.
It was the same festival It was in this this town that I don't remember the name of but it's in the Basque country and Basque country is very beautiful, you know and one thing that I really Have noticed about Spain is nobody in Spain is super psyched about Spain Like you're when you're in the Basque country, you know like hey, it's great to be in Spain They're like and when you're down and in Catalan, you know near Barcelona. You don't say hey It's great to be nobody wants to know about Spain or talk about how great it is Because I've realized that going to Spain over the years. It's a great place to go people are awesome All the cities are pretty great. The shows are great really open-minded audiences.
They love American music They they embrace a lot of our little micro musical cultures over there like garage rock in Americana and But they are not we Step it up play their wants or many times But we've the one of the last where we did Bob D'Amico had a had a snare head left over So he's like I'll sign the snare head and we'll sell it at the merch table So he wrote Viva España on the snare head and it was pretty much one of the first show we played it didn't sell at all It's sitting in my attic now. Nobody wanted a drum head that said Viva España even though it was all Are you know we had signed it nobody won and I remembered someone out came to the mercy She said you shouldn't sell that don't don't do that so For such a so this wonderful cup Spain itself is not super psyched to be Spanish And I've also noticed that in the Basque region, which is where I was they have a they have a totally separate language This whole other language that they speak that possibly is more Celtic than it is Roma, you know like from Latin It has like a lot of X's and crazy consonants in it, but there seems to be even more people Speaking Basque there and then and Catalan as well. I've noticed more like there's more of I see more Catalonian Well, maybe I just noticed them now, but so anyway, I was there for one day I didn't do shit other than think about this. I just basically sat in my room and I'd serve my energy until we got our little ride Over you know, we did our sound check and then I had 10 hours before the sound check and I literally I was kind of feeling sick too I kind of came home sick.
I did this crazy thing Bobby. We've talked about this deep breathing I do a lot of deep breathing to calm myself down and conserve my energy But I did it so much that I gave myself such a horribly sore throat by just as a compliment Yeah, I was just breathing in my hotel room And then I breathed all the way back on my plane ride and when I got home I thought I had fucking cove it my throat was so sore and then from there I drove to New Hampshire to see Izzy and Adele and drop Izzy off at her very first sleep away camp And I remember actually I texted you the day that I was texted you Bobby on the day that I was We were taken Izzy to sleep wake up and it was the same day you were taking your kid to sleep way camp I thought I'm like wow, this is like a whole thing that whole world that we were not aware of that all of these families existed Which is the day the Sunday that the sleep away camps open. Yeah, you're right Time is up. I was just getting into your I Love listening to you talking For my questions and comments, okay Questions comments, okay.
Yes, but one day trips are kind of tough Yeah, you have survival tips for that for travel like well I thought deep breathing was the way to solve everything, but it's not deep breathing Injured me I got injured by my one my my life my life raft that I was cooking onto for the last five years My method has now turned on me and I'm hurting myself by breathing too vigorously. It's airplane hair. It comes out of a can Yeah Bobby what are your questions and comments for Lou lose share. What was the name of the festival?
Build out flew into build out flew into build out and I drove about a hour I was in Bad things keep happening. Keep fear a new series is now streaming on Apple TV Why when I heard you Starring Academy Award winner Javier Bardem Why and Academy Award nominee any items he's coming after my family Here now streaming on Apple TV subscription acquired for Apple TV on this Norwegian trip and I and something and I was talking about Sand Sebastian in a festival I did all that my thrills and yeah But they get if you're on the beach way up on top of the hill up to the left is like some type way on and it's twisty turning Rose and it's a like a Not a story. It's like a you know Rides and it's like a theme park almost and they've had an indie rock festival up on top of this little twisty turning hill I play and I did it with my own music and I walked up to you and said hello and I'd forgotten about it No way. Yeah, and it was oh And I was you know when you talk to people and you know it's like they're here They they've been traveling nonstop, but yeah, I stood in front of you and said hello, but I know when wait Was that one sock did sock you play that one built a spell dinosaur junior?
Oh dinosaur junior. I was there with Sabato or no actually I was there with a full conclusion I think it well, I think you're with them from one. I've been there several times I'm sure I was there with I saw junior and full conclusion I've been to San Sebastian. Great.
There's a awesome beach there Yeah, where it's like it's this wonderful little half moon beach, but in the middle of the little beach is a fucking island It's this absolutely picturesque island. Yeah, and it's this beautiful sandy It's a it's it's really cool there and it's one of those towns where you can finish playing at midnight and everybody's just going out There's fucking four-year-olds on the street right in fucking tricycles it Yeah, I think I'm a bother with tricycles kids can already ride bikes when they're like fucking Yeah, so Bobby was that the first time you'd met Lou when you went up to him at that show or no We met I recorded when I recorded a couple of songs for the emo record with this guy Mark Nevers who's very good friends with Bobby And Bobby I think you live really close to him at that point. I recorded at Mark's house and you came by yeah Bobby came by one morning. He's like Bobby And we had the same book in Asia for a while Kevin French.
Oh, yeah, that's right And I'd come down and see you play at the basement You did an acoustic show there too Yeah, so I said hello. I wasn't just like hey man last thought on you Lou is that you should bring that drum head Is that a drum head is that right thing you say to your upcoming sub of shows and try and sell it again here in the States? Exactly This drum has going on tour until it's gone. Yeah, oh my god.
I love it. Okay. I'll do five minutes. Okay So So I'm gonna give me a three two one three two one Okay Five minutes what am I gonna talk about well?
Well, you're no I feel nervous. I am Going over to a little storefront today Lou and I are going to be renting a tiny tiny little storefront in Greenfield That's going to be the new home of my knitwear studio where I work out of the home right now But I'm gonna be moving it out of the house into a little storefront that I'll have my stuff in the back And then in the front will be a tiny tiny little Barlow family general store So we have only an online version of that right now where we sell like I sell my knitwear Lou sells his lyrics he hand writes his lyrics and sells CDs and things like that and It's something that we've been kind of talking about and thinking about for a while actually I think a few years but the spot happened to open up and it's on a little side street in Greenfield like off of our main street And so I'm excited and I'm nervous and just feeling like the change, you know just a lot of the stuff that has to be done. I don't know so yeah, I'm kind of Trying to organize my thoughts and my to-do list and my priorities to make our little Barlow family general store in my studio Makes sense and come alive. I Unfortunately my two knitting machines I use Bobby I work on vintage hand knitting machines They look kind of almost like a big keyboard with these like metal hooks that come out of them and they're made in Japan and They don't make them anymore.
So they just all have to be refurbished the ones that you use and When I lived in Los Angeles, I had someone who would refurbish them for me but I don't since moving here to Massachusetts and I Recently was told of a guy in Pawtucket who does repair knitting machines And so I Lou and I think and probably is he will do maybe a little road trip out to Pawtucket Hopefully drop off those knitting machines get them serviced functioning again So I'm like when's that gonna happen? I'm lose gonna be going on tour really soon. So I kind of start doing the like emotional Preparation for that where I start thinking about like oh, he's gonna be gone and what am I gonna do to help? Keep myself feeling okay mentally because it can like I feel like I get about two weeks, you know two weeks where I'm like Okay, I got this and then it always seems like after the two weeks I start to feel kind of glum and You know, I just really notice his absence and I feel very lucky that I have a partner who I really enjoy their company You know and I I really like being around the house all day with him and talking with him and so when he's gone I really miss his energy and his presence here No, I feel like crying see just thinking about it, but So I'm kind of building myself up for that and it's you know I get spoiled with sometimes getting these nice like two to three weeks where he's home and that feels so Decident to be honest because our life really is a lot of like we're together and then we're apart and then we're together And then we're apart and I'm sure you can relate to that Bobby and You know, maybe that'll work out too for your Swedish wife or it's just like she's there, you know, like You know when she's you see her when you get to see her Perfect wrapped up Okay questions and comments Hello, so we have the space we're getting this space Which is great because we can actually move a lot of Adele's stuff like knitting stuff Since we've had since Izzy came into our lives Our house was someplace that we would work before but I think having kids in a house and then also trying to simultaneously work in the house So we're gonna have Adele's gonna have a space to work outside of it But the idea of having this little star with my like dusty CDs in front of it Just think about my my just this little it's just funny like a little mauledering nook of my material Wow CDs I grew up in like it.
I mean I grew up and you know these sort of new England towns with these sort of strange downtown So very strange and empty storefronts and how these these storefronts come and go and It's just I'm it's gonna be interesting to think that we're gonna be part of that We're gonna have our own little weird so what are you saying that my store is gonna be moldering? Very front. I'm insane. You're saying the very front.
I'm just thinking totally personally about my own stuff I'm thinking what I'm excited about is where you're gonna have this space where you're gonna set up your machines We're gonna get that fucking machine fixed. We're gonna drive it to some dude some old man in Pawtucket He's gonna I your vintage Nining machines and fix them and then we're gonna put them in the space and you're gonna have a place we it's very loud what she does Be like breaking out machines downtown It's right across the skate skate park the only thing I thought what for our store was that we should we should sell bottles of what we should go to we should sell really cheap bottles of water for an dollar a piece to the skaters and skateboard tape yeah Mmm-hmm. You need to put it outside the shop. You know like you should get it yourself.
There's like a little grip tape Yeah, exactly. So yeah, there's a brand new brand new skate park right across the street from it, which is so cute And it's a very small little store. So it's kind of neat. It's like a real it's a tiny little bitty store Yeah, it's only 445 square feet.
So it's just my own little dink Can I have questions now? Yes, please. What are you gonna call it the Barlow Family General Store? Okay Yeah, I don't know if Lou told you my best friend driving owns a bar called the basement east and underneath it He has a bar a new bar that's totally separate from upstairs, and he used to have a bar.
Did you ever play the slow bar? That was his bar that but they so they called their bar the low bar the new bar below That's all I need that he needs to create a drink called the low bar low Yes Implement the low bar low are you gonna have cell vinyl? Do you have like some friends of mine tons and tons of vinyl from years of touring and shopping for records? Oh?
I don't know Yeah, that's what that's do like with it's where you the weird little shops around our town will have there will always be like a little bin of records and they'll be selling a carrie Bella Harry Belafonte carrie Like I'm really scratched a shit copy of it for like 30 bucks. Yeah, they don't know what vinyl But if it said if it said owned by property of Lou Barlow They pay that for who but I Bobby actually I think you're right I like the idea of having it by appointment like we have this like where you know where I Want to have this place? I want to have my own little place where I play by appointment Now I don't know who anyone's done this yet where they have like where you do shows but people make the appointment for the show They'll be like so they'll come to me playing I will literally stand in front of them and play It's almost like almost like you're like I mean Do I mean it's just like a my own personal my own personal Branson, but I'm playing my shows but only by appointment like so there's a Tiniest little stage in there. I can call that will you learn lay lady lay and say it to my wife On Thursday at 3 p.m.
Exactly Like a live stream or wait what I don't I were listening to National Skyline the other day And she was like that's Bob Dylan's voice like she was really shocked at his voice at that time Yeah, yeah, yeah, I'm like no he did that for that this record and we were trying to hypothesize like what made him sing This way did he do it for Johnny Cash and then he like yeah What's up with his voice? I was so cute when he said that I was like I was so puzzled A Nashville buddy of mine was in Dylan's band for years John Jackson and in the year 2003 He was in New York and I was living in New York City on summer of 2003 And he was musical director for times are a changing the Bob Dylan musical and I think Twilight Arpeh choreography and it was horrible It was just imagine Just imagine Stay like a I got complete It was bad. It was my god some of the Dylan records Charlie Daniels played guitar on yeah, I heard he was a studio Yeah, yeah, he played on a On Leonard Cohen he was in the learner Cohen's band We saw Leonard Cohen in Switzerland blue is that right yeah, the Montreux yeah the Montreux jazz festival and Maybe this will be the controversial like hot take but we left like after I don't know like barely a song We were just like okay cool. Bye Did he do double went down to Georgia I Just sort of like blanked out honest to God it was like a party You know what cool lots are and God bless you know what you got to wear what you got to wear and you're comfortable and you're feeling good Yeah, but it was almost as if like in Switzerland every like Minnesota looking like mom showed up for Leonard Cohen I don't know and they're just there's Smart little pants and their shirts was it boring because he wasn't trying oh no it was it was just cheesy It was like a cheese like the band sounded cheesy.
Yeah, my little cheesy I mean he was it was very nice because people were there was someone there was so much good energy being you know Given to this man and he was obviously soaking it up and he seemed very happy the music was super cheesy That's all it was kind of cheesy I did a film with Francis McDormand and the last day of shooting was a big party scene and she had and we it was shot at the Chateau mormat and we were in her room at the Chateau and we're and it was kind of great because She had a bottle of whiskey and I could actually have a little bit of whiskey before they shot the scene which I was so grateful for because Acting is a nightmare and it's the worst. Yes nervous most self-conscious.
