SAfm — The bodies of seven more illegal miners have been recovered at the Gloria Coal Mine in Middelburg. This brings the number of miners killed after being trapped under ground to 12. Bad weather conditions have hampered recovery operations. Mine rescue practitioner, Mike Elliot, says the process of pumping fresh air into the mine shafts will continue throughout the day. Fifteen more people are still believed to be trapped underground.
