Bold Faith | October 4, 2020 | Pastor John Niewald

Message Notes“With great power the apostles continued to testify to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus, and much grace was upon them all.” Luke 20:33We do not go to church, we ARE the church. We are stewards of the faith for our generation. What story will be told about us?Peter in a room full of people who are gonna decide whether he lives or dies, he looks them in the eye, and says. “you crucified him, but God raised him and there is no other named under heaven by which we must be saved.” Where does that boldness come from? The resurrected Jesus! You’d just gotten out of jail, you knew that the very group of people who had arrested you had taken your master’s life, you are in the city where these events happened. You barely got out alive, and now you’re gathered with other Christians, and you know you’re being followed and watched, how would you pray? When we pray little prayers, perhaps that’s why so little happens. We are to demonstrate God’s love through our words and actions so that this thirsty, hungry, lost world can come to know Jesus!“God is the source of love; Christ is the proof of love; Service is the expression of love; Boldness is the outcome of love.”We are stewards of the faith for our generation and we are setting the tone for the next generation.Send questions to [email protected] 20, Acts 4Support the show
