Bolzano: Self-Guided Audio Walk Through a Scaled Solar System

Full Version: Bolzano: Self-Guided Audio Walk Through a Scaled Solar System This self-guided audio walk explores Bolzano through the theme of astronomy, making it a great fit for curious travelers, families, and anyone who enjoys science paired with an outdoor route. You will follow a model of the Solar System step by step, discovering how space can be translated into a landscape you can actually walk through. The route begins at the Max Valier Observatory in Bolzano and continues past Mercury, Venus, Earth, and Mars before reaching Jupiter. From there, the walk leads onward through the larger outer-planet section, passing another observatory point and continuing to Uranus and Neptune. The tour ends at Pluto, completing a planetary journey laid out across the city’s surroundings. Along the way, you will experience the striking contrast between the tiny inner planets and the wide gaps that separate the outer worlds. The most memorable moments come from seeing cosmic scale turned into real space under your feet, standing by the observatory that anchors the route, and finishing with the satisfying feeling of having walked from the Sun’s neighborhood to the edge of the Solar System.
