Bondi attack hero's life-saving tumour discovery

Police officer Jack Hibbert, who was shot multiple times while responding to the Bondi terror attack in December, had a benign tumour discovered behind his eye during surgery for his gunshot wounds. The 22-year-old officer, who had only been in the force for four months before the attack, underwent surgery in late April to remove the tumour and is now recovering in hospital.
