Bonnie Caulfield - Go Do Something Amazing! | RunChats Ep.45

from RunChats with @RonRunsNYC · host Ron Romano

At the tender age of 31, Bonnie Caulfield has already completed an astonishing 10 Ironman triathlons! Bonnie is the 5th of 6 children, grew up in an ultra-competitive family, and was inspired to take on an Ironman after her mom signed up for one at age 55—even though she couldn't swim at the time. Talk about strong female role models! Bonnie puts the E in extrovert, her fire burns bright for all things Ironman, and she enthusiastically shares her love for the sport with all in its growing community. It’s rare to find your passion in life at such a young age.  We took a deep dive on: Her biggest role model (her mom), family dynamics, COVID, divorce, therapy, team dynamics, coaching styles, community, her mantra: Go Do Something Amazing, and the positive impacts of Coach Dave, her Tri-Mentor, Jeff, and her boyfriend, Garrett. I got chills hearing Bonnie talk about racing every step of an Ironman with her little sister, Betsy. What a special day to share and family moment to bond over. There is SO much inspiration in this one and I hope you all enjoy this conversation as much as we did! If you enjoy the episode, it would mean the world to me if you would rate the podcast or write a review and share feedback wherever you get your podcast groove on.
