Bonus: A Preview of the 2019 ErgoX Exoskeleton Symposium: Exoskeletons in the Workplace and Beyond

Presenter(s): Nicholas Roome, Blake Arnsdorff, Chris Reid, Hongwei Hsaio, Bill Marras Description: 2018 saw the return of ErgoX in a new symposium format dedicated to the user centered design of new disruptive technology…in this case exoskeletons. Lessons learned from attendees of the symposium showed the need for further understanding of how to properly design, assess, utilize, integrate, and sustain these devices in not only the industrial workplace, but also medical rehabilitation, and military Warfighter ones too. 2019’s exoskeleton symposium will build on those lessons learned by again tapping into the knowledge gaps and findings of exoskeleton standards development, developer intrigue, user feedback, and research methods for cognitive and physical symbiosis between humans and their exoskeletons.
