Board-certified in Internal Medicine and Infectious Diseases, she completed her fellowship at UT Health San Antonio and a sub-fellowship in Antimicrobial Stewardship at Stanford University. Dr. Onguti holds an MPH in Epidemiology and Biostatistics from Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health and is a board member of the Society of Bedside Medicine, she is dedicated to medical education and serves as Associate Program Director of the Infectious Diseases Fellowship Program.
