WELCOME BACK FRIENDS!!! In recognition of the various atrocities happening in the world, we sought to bring you an episode that highlights one of the current genocides, specifically: Sudan. In this episode, we sat down with Yasmine, (known as The Jasmine Blossoms)- A young Sudanese-American, to discuss the war and genocide in Sudan. Our conversation starts with a comparison between Toronto and New York, followed by Yasmine sharing the meaning behind her name and her journey as an author and poet.
