Bonus Episode 17 - Philip Shotton: co-director of Happy Mondays videos, tells never-heard-before stories from the shoots and introduces the band to Carl Denver

A fab bonus episode where never heard before Mondays stories are told by Philip Shotton - one of the Bailey Brothers who co-directed most of the Mondays' videos. Philip invented the iconic word "Madchester" and introduced the band to Carl Denver when Tony Wilson instigated a Factory night out to a supper club where he was playing. Find out who was made to wear prison uniforms, who wanted to star in a spaghetti western and why the iconic Step On video shot on the roof of a hotel in Spain almost never happened. Hosted on Acast.
