Trains even now still remains the commute for many Indians. The local trains have been replaced with the fast moving metro in all major cities.Also the economic growth in India has brought about changes in travel mode. Now people use flights to reach quicker.Earlier holidays were about the train tickets booked in advance with changes in between to reach the destination. No one was in too much of a hurry.Children of the 70s & the 80s will forever be nostalgic about the GREAT INDIAN RAILWAY.
