Words can hurt.Or they can heal.The can console.They can motivate, empower, and spur people to action.And they have the power to deliver peace to busy souls.Sometimes it only takes a few words like "So what?"Or "Cowboy up."Other times, when words are carefully chosen and properly placed, they can have an impact like your favorite book.This is a reading of a personal reflection written in 1927 by poet and lawyer Max Ehrmann called Desiderata – which means something needed or desired or longed for.I first read it probably 30 years ago.
