This episode is with DMV-native Akilah Bethel. Akilah has had such a unique professional career thus far. She's played in multiple in countries including Puerto Rico, where she was league MVP, and most recently in the Ukraine, which she had to leave due to war with Russia breaking out. She's also a former Harlem Globetrotter and the founder and commissioner of her own summer league, the Bethel League.
