On this BONUS EPISODE of CASCADE OF HISTORY, Feliks Banel speaks with U.S. Representative Marilyn Strickland, Democrat of Washington State's 10th Congressional District, for an update about the threatened closure of Lewis Army Museum at Joint Base Lewis-McChord (JBLM) near Tacoma, Washington. We also get an update from Erik Flint, retired former director of Lewis Army Museum. On June 30, 2025, Representative Strickland sent a letter to Secretary of the Army Dan Driscoll with a number of questions about the threatened closure, and a request to hear answers to those questions by this past Friday. In this interview, Representative Strickland reveals what response she received.
