Bonus Episode: Writing for Hollywood & Indian House Guest Culture (with Prathi Srinivasan) | South Asian, Screenwriting & Family

Writing for Hollywood and creating stories sounds like such a dream job. Prathi does just that, she is an actress and screenwriter living in LA. She’s worked on latest season of Titans, on HBOMAX as well as writing Plan B which released on Hulu earlier this year. Prathi also wrote and starred in Bollyweird, an indie webseries that features a multi-cultural cast, a bisexual love triangle, and was shot entirely in quarantine. Available on YouTube (linked it down below) We talk about her journey into screenwriting, South Asian representation and Indian house guest culture because that in itself a shared experience many of us face. We also get into the deeper topics like finding the balance of being assertive without being labelled bossy and how obsessed Indian uncles & aunties still are about our love lives. Thank you so much for the support that you’ve given Season 2, I really appreciate it. Season 3 will be out in September 2021.
