BONUS: In Conversation With: Brandon Hambright (Photographer)

Brandon Hambright was a staple in the Richmond emo scene since its earliest inception. He also had a camera. Growing up as a fan of music, he caught the bug for live performances in the DIY/emo/underground scene and decided he should start documenting it. What followed were several years attending shows big and small and capturing the growth and vibrant energy of the Richmond scene. We talk about how he intersected with the Richmond music scene, what it was like being a self-taught visual artist, the digital media landscape of the time, some technical talk about camera gear, and some of his favorite bands from the time.
