Court documents show he was originally charged as an adult with 10 felony counts — including first-degree rape, attempted rape, sexual battery, and multiple counts of domestic assault by strangulation.  Despite facing a possible 78-year prison sentence, Butler was instead granted youthful-offender status under Oklahoma law.
