Bonus Minisode! We debut the brand new Girl Scout cookie with the brand new mayor of Idaho Falls!

Newly elected Idaho Falls mayor Lisa Burtenshaw joins us in studio as our second guest like evar zomg! Together we taste drive the brand new Girl Scout cookie for 2026, Exploremores! Featuring a rocky road inspired flavor profile with chocolate, marshmallow, and toasted almond-flavored cream in a sandwich cookie. And of course only the best compliment of milk from Reed's Dairy. Who will pick whole, skim, 2%?!? While we're at it, we get to know the mayor through casual conversation and friendly banter. We talk about Idaho Falls history of female mayors since 1993, Lisa's passion for a community center, drone swarms and the 4th of July fireworks and the America 250 celebration, making Friday night plans vs Saturday night plans, the part of the job she likes the most (planting flowers), the thing she finds most difficult (prioritization), city growth, the water tower, her videos, your input, Heritage Park, Starlite Skating, and the Motor Vu Drive-In. The Girl Scout Cookie Program provides invaluable entrepreneurial skills for Girl Scouts and funds experiences such as service projects, troop travel, and summer camp. All proceeds from cookie sales stay with local councils and troops to power Girl Scouts' amazing experiences year-round. Thank you to Kim and the Silver Sage Council for the cookies!Get your own Girl Scout cookies here https://www.girlscouts.org/en/cookies/how-to-buy-cookies/cookie-finder-results.html?#83401
