BONUS: New euphonium concerto by Philip Harper

Euphonium player Micah Parsons has commissioned a new euphonium concerto by composer and conductor Philip Harper with artwork by Tim Godden. The concerto is inspired by, and depicts, three events from the First World War as experienced by Micah's great grandfather, Henry Nichols. Here we discuss the creation of new music, the combination of art and music, and what, in particular, each member of the panel enjoyed about working on this concerto.
