Bonus: Out in the Open with Al Viney
from The Tennis · host Tennis Australia
At age 18, Paralympian Al Viney survived a serious car accident caused by a drunk driver, leaving her with lasting impairments to her left elbow, forearm and hand. Since the accident, Viney has gone on to represent Australia as an elite rower. Outside of the sporting arena, she is a vocal advocate for rainbow athletes, particularly those with a disability. When Sam Koslowski sat down with Viney at the Australian Open for a chat in the Mastercard Pride Hub, she was emotional, compelling and astoundingly honest about her journey.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
