Bonus Podcast: A Few Moments With Anne Arundel County Sheriff Everett Sesker

I've lived in Anne Arundel County since 1996 and always knew we had a Sheriff. I knew they guarded the Courthouse and served court documents, but I never really understood the office. That changed today when I sat down with Anne Arundel County Sheriff Everett Sesker. We talked about his all-encompassing background in law enforcement, the shortcomings he saw in the office, the changes he has made and will make, and even speculated on who would win in a one-on-one with AACPS 's Dr. Mark Bedell. My takeaway is that the Sherrif's Office does much more than I imagined, that I am thankful that they are here, and that I am not getting a free parking pass in the underground garage at the Courthouse! Fun fact: The Anne Arundel County Sheriff's Office is the second oldest Sheriff's Office in the State and Country. It was established in 1650 by the King of England.
