BONUS: So you want to be a Supershrink?: the search for informed simplicity
from the Informed Simplicity podcast · host jocrharris
About a month ago a friend and fellow therapist asked me to give a presentation to his chapter of GAMFT. At first I didn't know what to present on, then it dawned on me. Since day 1 I've been trying to follow in the footsteps of Milton Erickson. While my journey has been roundabout to say the least, what it's left me with is one question "how do you become a better therapist?" As I collected my thoughts I realized I had answered that question. I entitled the presentation So you want to be a Supershrink?: the search for informed simplicity. Suprsingly the answers to becoming better had nothing to do with what model you use or what theory you expose. So how do you do it? Listen and find out.
