So, he bought a $7,500 cabin as a young man with little to no knowledge about how to restore it — the how was unimportant, honestly — and he documented his experience in his memoir, Cabin: Off the Grid Adventures with a Clueless Craftsman. The KUOW Book Club read Patrick’s memoir in July.
