Bonus Track! Working the Text for Year B, Advent 4, 2017

Hey friends. Here’s a bonus track from our experiment this week of doing the show live on the fly. This is Part 1 of the process wherein we go through the passage line by line to figure out what intelligences are native there. I’ll be honest, this isn’t the most exciting thing to listen to. That’s why we’re putting it out as a bonus track. Still, you might find it helpful to hear how we approach the text from a multiple intelligence point of view. And there are some extra illustrations that popped up here as we talked the text over. There are a few points of obvious disagreement, a fair bit of dead air, and lots of “ums” and “erhs.” I left most of that in to be honest to the process. Also, it ends pretty abruptly, because we were done. It sounds a little chilly toward the end, but we were fine and had a great time going to see The Last Jedi after we finished recording Part 2, which you can find here.
