The lamanites are stirred up by the Amalekites to go to war against the Anti-Nephi-Lehi people again and Ammon asks the king for them to flee to Zarahemla. He says no, unless Ammon prays and asks God. Ammon prays and is told to get the people out of the land as the Lamanites and Amalekites wanted to destroy the people. On the way, that is when the sons of Mosiah come across Alma and they rejoice. Alma takes them back to his home and the Anti-Nephi-Lehi people await to hear what the chief judge would say about them joining the people. A proclamation was sent out and a vote made and the land of Jershon was handed over for the Anti-Nephi-Lehi people to live. They remained steadfast in their changed heart and would not take up arms. The Nephites protected them with their own armies. A mighty battle was had bwtween the Lamanites and the Nephites and more died than ever before and their was much mourning in the land.
