More battles with the Lamanites. Teancum awaits Moroni and his army before trying to reclaim cities of the Nephites taken by the Lamanites. As king Amalickiah of the Lamanites had been killed, his brother Ammoron was made king in his place. During the battles, prisoners were taken. The Lamanite prisoners were caused to labour, burying the dead and building fortresses around the land Bountiful. The people of Ammon which were converted lamanites who were being protected in the land of Zarahemla, wanted to break their oath and fight to help the Nephites but Helaman forbade them breaking their covenant but the sons of the people of Ammon hadnt made any covenants and they prepared for battle instead, two thousand righteous young men prepared for battle asking Helaman to be their leader. This ended the 28 year of the reign of the Judges over the people of Nephi.
