Book of Alma Chapter Twenty-One. Book of Mormon 1830 First Edition.

Alma the younger prophecies to his son Helaman about the state of the Nephites 400 years after the coming of Jesus Christ. This chapter also sees the disappearance of Alma who departed out of the land of Zarahemla on his way to Melek and was never seen again. Moses is mentioned too, that Alma might have been taken to the Lord as Moses had. This chapter shares more stories of war and bloodshed but that the Nephites were protected by their goodness, Moroni their captain having made a title of liberty by renting his coat and writing upon it words and putting it on a pole... which others copied and titles of liberty were raised everywhere to strengthen the people and remind them of what was important to them so they were strengthened to protect their families and freedom and liberty and faith against the lamanites and ex nephites who wanted to destroy them. Moroni also had the land of the Nephites strengthened physically by building forts so they could not be attacked so easily.
