The Prophecy of Samuel the lamanite, to the Nephites. Samuel the Lamanite stood upon the walls of the city Zarahemla and declared unto them their sins and the signs to come to testify of the birth of Jesus Christ and his death and resurrection. He prophesied five years would pass and a sign be shown of a day and a night which would remain light, and signs of lightenings and thunderings and three days of darkness when Jesus would die at Jerusalem.
