Nephi will struggle to lead his rebellious brothers and experience personal deliverance through heartfelt prayer. The bulk of our study will be focused on Lehi’s sweeping vision of the tree of life. The symbols woven into the vision will help us understand how to navigate our complex mortal experience with hope, understanding, and grace.We’ll reinforce those teachings in the creative object lessons as well. First, we’ll break down the structure of the iron rod with a simple aluminum foil braid. Next, we’ll talk about what it means to “keep” something for God by playing an epic game of potato jousting.
