Send a text Deviating from her normal content, Hannah reviews two books this week for today's podcast. First up is an autobiography by Sonora Carver-- A Girl and Five Brave Horses. This first book is the true story about horse diving in the United States. Wrapped up in the friendship between Wild Bill Hickok, Buffalo Bill, and Doc Carver, the origin of horse diving is fascinating and the full story is bound to intrigue any history lover, but especially horse enthusiasts. Hannah next reviews the book Mama Bear Apologetics by Hillary Morgan Ferrer et al. Written for moms but appropriate for both parents, this is a dive into the various ideologies our children face in the 21st century. Ferrer and her co-authors help parents recognize the various ideologies and then respond to them Biblically. Hannah recommends this book for any parent but ideally for small group settings.
