七月的Bookcast，我們邀請了饒啟璋（Keith）和饒啟芬（Fanny）兩姊弟，由參與出版《蔬果花木拾趣》出發，分享他們眼中作為作者、研究者、博物學家的父親，饒玖才的面貌。饒玖才先生早年在中國、新西蘭和美國接受農業、林業及自然護理的教育。1955至1990年在香港政府漁農處工作，退休前擔任助理處長。退休後，他專注於香港及鄰近地區的歷史風物研究，著作甚豐。2019年，他著手編撰《蔬果花木拾趣》，期間身體抱恙，一度考慮放棄。幸得家人、朋友鼎力協助，最終順利出版。Keith憶述，兒時闖進爸爸的工作室「歎冷氣」，還能勾勒當時酸枝圓檯、收音機、書櫃的佈置。長大後，他跟爸爸出門搜集資料，一起拍攝香港各地的芒果樹和大樹菠蘿。Fanny就形容，爸爸是個安靜的人，生活井然有序，熱愛觀察和閱讀，並透過寫作分享知識，希望人們「知其然，亦知其所以然」。嘉賓｜饒啟璋（Keith）、饒啟芬（Fanny）主持｜黃淑儀（Leanne）技術｜朱煒傑書名｜蔬果花木拾趣作者｜饒玖才出版｜郊野公園之友會、天地圖書有限公司（2023年7月）ISBN｜978-988-8551-02-6
