[powerpress] About the Guests Chet Ross Chet S. Ross is a senior executive with extensive, international experience.. He has thirty-seven years management experience in equipment manufacturing, marketing and operations. Chet is currently managing director of Devon Associates, an industry consulting group. He is also a member of the board of directors of the Arizona Business Council, an organization focused on growing Arizona businesses. As a volunteer he was a regional vice president in the southwest for the SCORE Association, a past district president for SCORE in Arizona and past chapter chair for the Greater Phoenix SCORE Chapter. Prior to that, he was president and CEO of Waterlink, Inc., a New York Stock Exchange company, which he led, through acquisition and internal growth, into a leading company in the water and waste-water treatment industry. Mr. Ross directed the company from a raw start-up in 1995 through 13 acquisitions totaling 23 operating companies into a multinational provider of water and waste-water treatment systems and products with 1998 pro-forma revenues of $175 million. The company gained listing on the New York Stock Exchange on June 24, 1997. From August 1991 through May 1994, he was president and CEO of North West Water, Inc., responsible for all North American operations and a member of North West Water Group Plc Executive Committee. North American revenues were in excess of $230 million. During this period, he also directed the acquisitions of Consolidated Electric (Electronic controls) and CFM Environmental Services (contract operations-later to become US Water) and integrated them into the group. Additionally from January 1993 to May 1994, he acted concurrently as Managing Director, North West Water Process Instrumentation Group with headquarters in Manchester, England. The group included Wallace & Tiernan’s worldwide operations and Consolidated Electric in the United States. Process Group sales were in excess of $140 million with over 800 employees. Dotty Brown After a career spent in the world of ideas -- writing and editing for the Philadelphia Inquirer -- Dotty Brown writes about recreating oneself post-career. She interviews others taking that journey, and shares her own steps along the way. For 30 years, she worked at the Philadelphia Inquirer, as Trends Editor, Medical/Science Editor and Enterprise Editor for Print and Digital. During that time, she edited the stories that won a 1997 Pulitzer Prize for Explanatory Journalism.
