Border Showdown: 122 Years of Rivalry | Missouri Tigers Football News

This Friday night, the Kansas Jayhawks host the Missouri Tigers in the 122nd edition of the historic Border Showdown — one of college football’s longest-running rivalries. Missouri leads the all-time series 57-55 with 9 ties, but both teams are coming off big wins and hungry to make their mark. The rivalry dates back to 1891, paused after Missouri’s 2011 Big 12 exit, and set to resume officially in 2025. With high stakes, deep tradition, and a century of back-and-forth battles, this game is more than football — it’s legacy. Kansas looks to defend home turf and chip away at Missouri’s lead before the renewal. Don’t miss the clash that’s shaped generations of fans and players.
