Border Showdown: Missouri vs Kansas | Missouri Tigers Football News

College football’s fiercest rivalry returns this Friday as No. 23 Missouri heads to Lawrence to face Kansas in the high-stakes Border Showdown. Both teams enter undefeated after explosive season openers — Missouri crushed Arkansas-Pine Bluff 54-0, while Kansas demolished Long Island 51-0. Missouri holds a slight edge in the all-time series (57-55, 9 ties) after winning last year’s matchup 42-31, but Kansas is hungry to even the score. Missouri’s ranked 23rd nationally, led by transfer QB Austin Simmons, who threw for 250+ yards and 4 TDs in his debut. Kansas’ Isaiah Marshall matched that with 240+ yards and rushing ability. With 120+ previous meetings and home-field advantage at David Booth Kansas Memorial Stadium, this promises to be a firecracker of a game — don’t miss it on Fox at 8 PM ET.
