Borges Lettering & Design - Greg Reid TPL 14MAR26

from The Player's Lounge · host Greg Reid TPL

In the shop at Borges Lettering & Design, Where the pencils draw the curves that the screens could never find, Every stroke is a heartbeat, every loop is a sign, Every font has a story in the grain of the line. Sarah Script whispers soft like a letter from home, While Workhorse stands steady like steel and stone. Bounce Script dances where the free lines go, And Avalanche hits heavy like a mountain of snow. Enchanted glows warm like a fairytale night, Louisiana drifts slow in that southern light. Chicago Script moves bold with a city stride, And Spaz breaks loose with a wild, crooked pride. Alpine Script climbs clean through the cold thin air, Gloria rings bright like a chorus in prayer. Sadey Ann leans sweet with a hand‑drawn grace, And Shocard Rodeo kicks dust in your face. These are hand‑designed fonts, Where the soul lives in the lines, The kerning close to perfect, and the feeling is divine. These are hand‑designed fonts, Every flourish tells a tale, Every loop and every angle Is a fingerprint in scale. So here’s to the makers with the ink‑stained hands, Who bend the strokes gently, who let the letters stand. In the shop at Borges Lettering & Design, Every font is a story carved one curve at a time.
