Born into the Body of Christ

The Church is the family of God into which we are born when we come to faith in Christ. Ultimately it is impossible to come to full maturity as a Christian without participation in the Church. This is because Jesus is always followed in the company of other believers. Isolating ourselves from the people of God is not just difficult, but it in fact is dangerous to our spiritual life. For all its weaknesses, the Church is still the main means through which God tells the world of his love for them.
