BORN TO SAVE, BORN TO REIGN

Scripture: “For unto us a Child is born, unto us a Son is given; and the government shall be upon His shoulder.” – Isaiah 9:6 Devotional Message: Jesus was not born merely to visit humanity, but to redeem it. From a humble manger came the Savior of the world—born to save us from sin, shame, and separation from God. Yet His mission did not end at salvation alone; He was also born to reign. Though wrapped in swaddling clothes, He carried divine authority, destined to rule with righteousness, peace, and truth. Christ’s reign is not limited to a throne in heaven; it begins in the hearts of those who receive Him. When Jesus reigns in us, darkness loses its grip, fear gives way to hope, and broken lives are restored. His kingdom is established wherever His lordship is acknowledged—bringing freedom, healing, and eternal life. As believers, we celebrate not only a Savior who rescues, but a King who governs our lives with love. Submitting to His reign means trusting His ways, obeying His word, and allowing His peace to rule in every situation. The One born in Bethlehem still reigns today—and His kingdom will never end. Today, Ask Yourself: Is Jesus only my Savior, or is He fully reigning as Lord over every area of my life? Prayer: Lord Jesus, thank You for coming to save me and to reign over my life. I surrender my heart, my plans, and my will to You. Let Your kingdom rule in me daily. Amen.
