Borrowing Perspective

Seeing the world through someone else’s perspective is something we do when we read books, listen to stories, and watch movies. We also do it when other people share how they experienced something and we really listen, without judgment or a filter. But what about borrowing a perspective in order to apply it to our own situation? Borrowing a perspective is thinking about how another person would respond to a similar situation and trying it on for size.
