Boston’s and Baltimore’s big investments in their ports pay off

On today’s episode Dooner and The Dude are talking to two Northeast ports about their growth and expansion.  Conley Terminal has nearly completed $850 million in infrastructure investments and is welcoming four new direct services to the Port of Boston. Lauren Gleason, deputy port director of business development at the Massachusetts Port Authority, tells us all about how the port got big ship ready and how it will help American shippers beat congestion. The Port of Baltimore is the nation’s largest importer and exporter of automobiles and high/heavy farm equipment. In Maryland's economy, the Port of Baltimore generates nearly $3.3 billion in total personal income and supports 15,330 direct jobs and 139,180 jobs connected to port work.
