Bourgmeisterin Episode #55: Claus Cito, the creator of Gelle Fra (part 2)

𝗣𝗮𝗿𝘁 𝟮 – and we’re back with Luxembourg’s own art rebel, Claus Cito! 🎨🎙️After giving the Gëlle Fra her golden glow-up, our 𝗕𝗮𝘀𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗴𝗲 boy found himself 𝘳𝘶𝘣𝘣𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘦𝘭𝘣𝘰𝘸𝘴 𝘸𝘪𝘵𝘩 𝘓𝘶𝘹𝘦𝘮𝘣𝘰𝘶𝘳𝘨’𝘴 𝘮𝘰𝘥𝘦𝘳𝘯𝘪𝘴𝘵 𝘤𝘳𝘦𝘸 — 𝗞𝘂𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿, 𝗞𝗹𝗼𝗽𝗽 & 𝗖𝗼. — who told the old guard to take a hike and launched the 𝗦𝗮𝗹𝗼𝗻 𝗱𝗲 𝗹𝗮 𝗦𝗲𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻. But when tragedy struck, Cito’s spark dimmed. Then came WWII, Nazis, and the 𝗱𝗿𝗮𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗰 𝘁𝗼𝗽𝗽𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗼𝗳 𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗚𝗼𝗹𝗱𝗲𝗻 𝗟𝗮𝗱𝘆 (yes, they 𝘢𝘤𝘵𝘶𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘺 used a 𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗮𝗺𝗿𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗿😬).
