𝗜𝗺𝗮𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗮 𝗴𝘂𝘆 𝘄𝗵𝗼 𝗯𝗮𝘀𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝗵𝗲𝗹𝗽𝗲𝗱 𝗶𝗻𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗲𝘂𝗿𝗼 𝗯𝗲𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗘𝘂𝗿𝗼 𝘄𝗮𝘀 𝗰𝗼𝗼𝗹 - 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁’𝘀 𝗣𝗶𝗲𝗿𝗿𝗲 𝗪𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗲𝗿💶Born in France🇫🇷🥖 (but, plot twist, 𝘵𝘰𝘵𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘺 𝘓𝘶𝘹𝘦𝘮𝘣𝘰𝘶𝘳𝘨𝘪𝘴𝘩🇱🇺), he studied law and politics in 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝗶𝘀, rubbed shoulders with 𝗘𝘂𝗿𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗮𝗻 𝘃𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗲𝘀, and somehow managed to be 𝗮 𝗯𝗮𝗻𝗸𝗲𝗿 𝗔𝗡𝗗 𝗮 𝘀𝗲𝗰𝗿𝗲𝘁 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗻𝘁 during WWII. Think 𝗝𝗮𝗺𝗲𝘀 𝗕𝗼𝗻𝗱, but with spreadsheets and economic blueprints instead of martinis and Aston Martins.Later, he became Luxembourg’s 𝗣𝗿𝗶𝗺𝗲 𝗠𝗶𝗻𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿 – twice, because once clearly wasn’t enough – and went on to sketch out the blueprint for 𝗘𝘂𝗿𝗼𝗽𝗲’𝘀 𝗺𝗼𝗻𝗲𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝘂𝗻𝗶𝗼𝗻.Ever used euros?
