It’s time to play wee and poo bingo 😉! The overall theme of our conversation with Alina was around the importance of talking to our children positively about wee and poo (Bingo!), but also helping them (and us) to understand what’s ‘normal’ in terms of toileting so that they (and we) know, for example, when they might be constipated. Other topics we talked about include: Constipation – the signs to look for. Concerns about toilet training and reasons why this might not be going as smoothly as you’d hoped. The effect that constipation can have on behaviour. Withholding (wee and poo) – why can this happen and what you can do to help. The many resources and support available from ERIC.
