Bowen Joins Penn State Transfer Push

Dasonte Bowen, a senior guard with one final year of eligibility, is transferring from St. Bonaventure to Penn State after averaging nearly 11 points, 3 rebounds, and 5 assists per game — including a season-high 20 points in a tournament game. A two-year standout at Iowa where he developed his game, Bowen joins a revamped Nittany Lions roster that’s added four other double-digit scorers via the transfer portal. With Penn State finishing 12-20 and near the bottom of the Big Ten last season, this aggressive roster overhaul aims to spark a turnaround — but can the new faces gel and elevate the program?
