Box 13 -- The Haunted Artist

Box 13 was a syndicated radio drama series from 1948-1949 following Dan Holiday, a former newspaper reporter turned mystery novelist who advertises "Adventure wanted, will go anywhere, do anything - write Box 13, Star-Times." In "The Haunted Artist," Holiday receives a desperate plea from a troubled artist who claims mysterious additions keep appearing overnight on his painting. The artist believes supernatural forces are adding elements he never painted, and Holiday must determine if this is psychological breakdown, elaborate hoax, or something more sinister in this blend of mystery and psychological drama.
